Overview

Located in the northern area of the Macau Peninsula, the Three Lamps District is not so much of a sightseeing destination as it is a hub of distinct culture, shopping and food.

Known for its Burmese immigrant community, the neighbourhood abounds with street vendors, local eats, and both traditional and fusion cafes. This part of the city is quite possibly one of the best districts to see how the locals live. So come and witness Macau in its unpretentious and down-to-earth form.

If you’re in the district, it’s worth visiting the Zhulin Temple nearby, a small Buddhist temple with a quaint inner garden.
